V-ATP: That's us
We are the Association of the Administrative and Technical Staff (V-ATP), an association under private law recognised by UZH. The V-ATP is led by the Executive Board. The respective responsibilities and obligations of the university and the V-ATP are set out in a service agreement. The University Act and the University Regulations form the legal basis.
Our tasks
As the representative body organisation, we represent the ATP and carry out the following tasks:
- We represent the representative body's interests in university and education policy within the University and towards the authorities and the public at cantonal, national, and international levels.
- We ensure and coordinate the co-determination of members of the representative body in decision-making. To this end, we organise elections for delegates to UZH’s governing committees.
- We facilitate networking amongst ATP delegates and encourage dialogue.
- We are the addressee for consultations on university legislation and other university projects.
- We provide information on university and higher education policy topics for members of the representative body.
- We organise events where members of the representative body can network, exchange views, and get informed about relevant topics.
- We act as a point of contact for any matters concerning the ATP.
- We contribute to maintaining and improving the working conditions of the representative body.
