Offers of the V-ATP

Two to three times per semester, the V-ATP sends out a newsletter containing current information on university policy, university projects, events and other offerings relevant to the ATP. If you are a member of the UZH’s ATP, you will receive the newsletter automatically (unless you unsubscribe). Otherwise, you can subscribe to the newsletter here.

A book swap for all bookworms. You can bring books, browse through them, and take some home.

Location: In the entrance hall of the UZH main building at Rämistrasse 71.

Why throw away or store items for years that others could still make good use of?
The UZH office supplies exchange makes it easy to pass on and reuse office supplies in good condition – a sustainable, practical and resource-efficient solution.

The platform was originally initiated by V-ATP and implemented by the University of Zurich’s Procurement and Logistics department. The previous service has since been discontinued.

New: Continued operation via Teams
To ensure that the exchange can continue, the office supplies exchange is now being run via a Microsoft Teams channel. There staff can offer, search for, or pass on office supplies directly – simply, quickly, and with minimal effort.

In the spring semester it is time to bring and take books and other media.

Once a year in autumn, the V-ATP organises a ‘Give and Take Day’ in the UZH centre campus. Staff can pass on personal items in good condition or take something suitable home themselves. The event promotes reuse, conserves resources and offers a straightforward way to pass things on in a meaningful way.

Three times a year, the V-ATP introduces itself to new staff as part of UZH’s Welcome Day / Welcome Week. The presentation takes place partly in person and partly online.
